Madmade. Studios is a studio-led clothing brand founded by Matthew Duffus.
The project began with a simple frustration: usable fabric, materials and garments being sent to landfill. Madmade. Studios exists as a way to slow that down. By working with deadstock, waste and reclaimed materials, I am focused on making considered garments from what already exists.
Madmade. Studios is currently a one-man studio. Every piece is designed, patterned and developed in house, with production kept deliberately small. Some garments are ready to ship, some exist as one of one pieces and others are made to order, depending on the material and the idea behind the product.
Rather than seasonal collections or trend-driven drops, the focus is on longevity. Garments are developed slowly, tested properly and made with intention, not pressure.
This approach allows flexibility. It makes space to experiment, to respond to materials as they are found and to offer custom fit on selected made-to-order pieces when it makes sense.
Madmade. Studios is about process, honesty and durability. Clothing designed to be worn, repaired and kept.
